These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://gigtax.tools (the "Site"), operated by Yield Goal Technologies Inc. ("GigTaxTools," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Description of the service

GigTaxTools provides free, self-service calculators covering self-employment tax, 1099 vs. W-2 comparisons, quarterly estimated taxes, LLC costs, home office and mileage deductions, and S-corp election savings. Calculations are estimates based on published 2026 federal and state tax figures, run entirely in your browser. No account or payment is required to use the Site.

2. Not tax, legal, or financial advice

The Site is provided for general informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. Our calculators use simplified models of federal and state tax rules and may not reflect every deduction, credit, filing status nuance, local tax, or change in law that applies to your specific situation. You should not rely on the Site as a substitute for advice from a qualified tax professional, accountant, or attorney before making financial decisions or filing a tax return.

3. Accuracy of information

We make reasonable efforts to keep tax rates, brackets, deduction limits, and other figures on the Site current and accurate, sourced from published IRS and state guidance. However, tax law changes, published figures can be revised, and errors can occur. We do not warrant that any result produced by the Site is complete, accurate, or up to date, and we are not responsible for outcomes resulting from reliance on the Site's output.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Site at a scale or frequency that degrades service for other users
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Site
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation, including through malware, denial-of-service activity, or unauthorized access attempts
• Misrepresent your affiliation with GigTaxTools or the Site

5. Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, calculators, and underlying code are owned by Yield Goal Technologies Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use the Site for your own personal or business tax planning, but you may not copy, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of the Site without our prior written permission.

6. Third-party links and services

The Site links to third-party resources, including government tax agencies. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. The Site may also use third-party services such as Google Analytics and, if enabled, Google AdSense, which operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yield Goal Technologies Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or tax penalties, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Site is limited to $100 CAD.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Yield Goal Technologies Inc. harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to the Site or these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site, or any part of it, at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; changes take effect when posted, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
